After all these decades, finally reading "Moby Dick." Incredible. But, no, none of us searches for that elusive one special card as crazily as did Ahab. Then again, a 1914 CJ never tore off one of our legs. Or so I think. http://www.net54baseball.com/attachm...1&d=1499461175

Me too. I read it again in my 40's and got way more out of it than I did in high school.

I read it on my own a few years ago. Read most of it during lunchtime at work sitting in a sauna in sweats. My opinion is that it is a bit overwritten. He could have used a good editor. A full chapter on the nobility of whale hunting is not necessary or germane to the story as a whole.

I read it last year. It was ok, but I agree. It was over written.
