Default Advertising on Topps Baseball Cards

I was updating my 1962 Topps Baseball wantlist and noticed that in the 6th series a total of 12 cards (484, 486, 489, 491 to 499) had advertising on the back of the cards for the upcoming 1962 Football issue. Did any other Topps cards in other years advertise for other sports on the back of cards? Was Topps feeling the heat from Fleer with their football issues and throwing in some cross promotions?

The early bowman's always had the additional bazooka joe type prize advertisements as well, I have been looking for the basketball ring for years myself.

Personally, I really enjoy the card inserts of other companies advertising junk items like pennants, patches, etc. Or even the All-star game contest cards of the 80's. As they usually were tossed out and good examples are difficult at times.
