Hi
I need some help on some of the major auction house's. I'm looking to send these three 1926 team composite photos of the knickerbockers, cubs and the tigers. I was going to send them through mastronet but I missed the deadline, REA's next auction is a year away. So what im asking is whats the next best auction house to send them throw. I was thinking Mile high but i dont know if there really a vintage auction. And i also tryed ebay and then turned out not to work. Thanks

Brock- I'm not totally clear what you have to sell since you didn't include pictures.

Who are the 1926 Knickerbockers?

Hi
These were believed to be made in 1926 for the 50th anniversary of the national league. The photos are of players from the 1880's tigers.cubs.and knickerbockers and the photos used are the same from the old judge cards.

If you have a price in mind why don't you try the B/S/T feature .

Mastro has a few auctions a year, so you could consign it their next auction. Also, you could try Lelands, as they auction a lot of photos.

If the auction house or potential is unfamiliar with the photos, mention that these photos were in the Halper Auction/Catalog, where Sotheby's assigned the date and said they believed they were for the anniversary, and were also auctioned in a REA auction. In the other thread on these photos, I listed the Halper auction lot # and the catalog has a picture of them.

Brock- the one labelled Knickerbockers is an error, as those are the New York Giants. They are worth several hundred dollars each, but you would have to check with a large auction house to see if they would accept them.
