Default Tough Dryden Auto

Personalized but better than nothing. Tough auto to land.

Default Neil...

Cool item. It seems you and I have similar interests. I had heard quite a few years back that Ken was signing if you mailed a request to Parliament in Ottawa so I tried it and voila, about 6 months later got a nice photo signed and personalized. It was a weird size like maybe 3 by 6 but very cool!

Thanks for sharing! Mike

Funny, Dryden isn't into signing for the major card companies at all. Have to like that. He did a local NY "Hockey Night Live" a couple of seasons back, and it was truly enjoyable. No ass kissing or fawning, just great questions answered by Dryden. His stories and remembrances of his career were great.

Great story about him here.

Back in the early 1980's I wrote to him requesting him to sign 2 3x5 index cards which he promptly did.

Several months later I get another envelope with a postcard inside and it is from him. It is a postcard autographed to me on the front and a note on the back saying "Sorry but I must have misplaced your index cards. Hope this card will be good" and signed again.

I guess he left my letter laying around and did not realize he already signed and sent my cards, so he sent me the postcard in place of the index cards.

One of my favorite autographs...............

If I get the chance, I will attach photos.
