WOW been watching the games, great skills these youngsters have. A 13 years old that is 6'2" and 205 baffles the mind. The game is changing. I grew up in a small town where we had to beg kids to come and play and there were none of us of that stature.

Anyone else have a LL photo? Here's a nine year old starting pitcher in LL, yup it was me a long time ago and yes I do have big hands like Honus.

Here's my theory... It's the steroids that farmers have been feeding cattle for years. It's in our beef and milk supply.

My high school football team, in the early 1970's, had trouble coming up with anyone over 200 lbs. Now, the 200 lb. guys are wide receivers and safeties. (At least here in Texas.)

Apparently the top portion of kids brains were expendable in the '50s.
Great pic.

Ive got only one childhood pic that survived, and that's with an intoxicated Santa who wreaked of Canadian Club.

Now that's funny....

btw, when I played little league our all star team (me included) went to the Texas state championships in Waco. The team that eventually beat us won state and their best pitcher was 6'1"......and yes, he was 12 or 13......From 45 feet (the little league pitching distance) his fastball was equivalent to something like a 90mph- 60' pitching distance....We were 4th or 5th that year which wasn't bad out of over 500 teams. Oh the memories...
