Default Post Something Cut From Something Else

I recently picked up a few "cards" that were cut out of larger advertising posters and thought this might make for a fun thread. I know there are some board members that can post some pretty cool items.

Let's see some hand cut items with two loose restrictions: no strip cards and no printer's scraps (cards that were messed up somehow and cut out of their sheets rather than thrown in the garbage -- I like them but they are shown here a lot). Please mention the larger item from which things were cut too --- if you know.

I'll go first:

Frank Baker cut out from a Cracker Jack poster (http://www.milehighcardco.com/specta...-lot44519.aspx)

King Kelly cut out from an Old Judge poster (https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0fGWZuqDGU5Rxt --- with the link coming from this thread http://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=228013).

Would you consider these scraps? Took me forever to finally figure out what they were:

They are cut out from 1950's Royal Desserts cards. These were on the back of boxes of Royal Desserts products and the entire cards measured 2 1/2 x 3 1/2. Unfortunately, someone decided to just cut out the heads instead of the entire card .

Default T202 end panels

T202 end panels cut from the T202 triplefolder cards. I am missing just one subject (Mattern) to have an completely incomplete set of them.

I have several that probably fall into this category. A couple of these are still unexplained as to what they're from exactly...

Love the CJ ad-poster Cobb by the way

Default Plank w/ Bonus Stache

Am aware of the notebook covers, but have yet to see one with Plank on it. Has remnants of black background on the hand cut borders. Anyone know of the advertisement that this came from?

I believe this to be cut out of a 1878 calendar. the lovely flower at the top center was added by a previous owner that covers up the factory made hole where you would but a tack to hang it up on a wall. i decided to leave it there

Another notebook cover. I always liked the color on the Chase card (which is why I bought it)... it's nice to have the Speaker too!

Does a Cracker Jack cut from the poster carry a premium? I would think that it would since (I'm assuming that) they are quite rare. Realllllllly neat !

Brendan, I obtained the WaJo I posted above many years ago. It cost me considerably less than a "real" WaJo CJ would have back then. Today, I suspect the gap has narrowed somewhat, but would still be large.

I would agree with this. I'd say that HOFers seem to be 75-80% of what the actual cards are going for. Commons might be a little closer....

Have a bunch of stuff but this is my most recent - it's a Kinney N228 Type 5 and was one of the rarer rectangular cards. Someone cut it (as the instructions said to do on the back) into the round circle to match the Type 1, 2, and 3 cards.

Been after this for a while, actually.
