Default Was anyone else very tempted by this Cobb auction?

Though I had doubts about it, it still made sense intellectually...in all the fields that usually will spark suspicion. Albeit with enough reluctance to not allow me to pull the trigger.

I'm ok with not bidding, but am contemplating kicking myself. If everything does indeed check out to be closer to the best case scenario, as opposed to being closer to the worst-case scenario, this buyer got a great deal.

I was the first loser, but how much is a cobb worth with tape on the back. I don't allow it in my collection. I figured $500 for the batting, $1000 for the green, and maybe $800 for the red. If they were to stay in my set I would have went higher for sure.

Definitely real, although the Cobb (Bat on Shoulder) looks trimmed.
