Default Cubs Trifecta Finally Complete

While I am certainly no Cubs fan, I love the history of the game. I am in pursuit of the Mike Payne's 300 Greatest cards of the 20th century. I am also trying to get them all graded.

Three of the cards are the 1911 T205 Gold Border cards of Joe Tinker, Johnny Evers, and Frank Chance. An amazing infield trio for the Cubs when they won the World Series in 1907 and 1908. There was even a song or poem written about them.

I finally got the Evers today to finally have all three and it is the best looking 2 I have ever seen.

Thanks for reading.

Congrats. Indeed I assume that Evers has a bit of back damage. Tremendous eye appeal.

Hey, I looked up your registry. You're number 4. Congratulations.

I used to own four of those 1965 cards listed. I still have the T206s. Good luck with some of them.

Nice cards. If you're looking for another challenge, think about getting the T202 Tinker / Evers / Chance card to go with your T205s.

Only because you have impeccable taste.

Nice double play combo. Now get the Harry Steinfeldt and complete the infield!
