Default October pick-ups
Didn't see a thread so I figured I would start one. I sold one of these a few weeks back and regretted it from the moment I mailed it out. So, I bought another one. LOVE this card. It's a 1970 Kenwood Plaza Johnny Bench.

Just got this one. I remember getting a reprint in a pack when I was a kid and thinking it was a great looking card. I feel like it captures the true "All American-ness" of 50's Mickey Mantle.

These two complete my Venezuela type run for Topps, at least for fronts; still need a couple back variations and Cy's reverse is destroyed so will get another Retirado some day:

Nice 54's Matt! Never thought I would upgrade my Aaron but this one was too nice to pass up and I was not sure on the tilt but now in hand, it is not a problem for me. Love the card.

Thanks Mike...I like that Aaron! I am probably going to get the Aaron, Banks, Kaline, both Williams and the Mays last...I'm down to 120 cards needed and I'm around PSA 7 across the board. It's a great set and I'm kind of glad there isn't a Mantle in it to complicate things...I'm just not that in to Mantle. Enjoy your new Aaron...Matt
