Is this Ken Griffey Jr. Auto legit?

Friend of mine bought it and we aren't too confident in it, but want to hear from the experts! It's on a heavily used pro stock bat. Thanks!

I have 4 Griffeys and none look like this, letter spacing feels wrong as does slant and overall formation of the signature. I wouldn't buy it

To me it looks like what would happen if I tried to copy his auto. Griffey has a lot if flair in the lettering. This one seems almost too simple.
