Got these as a kid in 1966, found them recently. Only 1/2 the team toured at each site, missed Hawkins, but got Meadowlark and Abe

Great stuff Robert. Back in their heyday. Reminds me of when they even had their own cartoon characters on Saturday morning cartoons.

I just read today that the Globetrotters are going to retire Curly Neal,s number. I saw that he played from 1963 to 1985. I wonder if he was present when you saw them as he was not listed on the cover. CN

They just passed through town here last week. It got me talking to the kids about their history. Actually it's quiet a complex story for kids when you consider the social side of it.

Anyway, does anybody else have any early Globetrotter items to show or tell about?
