Default thanks

I was really bummed out......totally spaced...and she already has flowers that are wilting so I need to figure something else out, but thanks for the suggestion. BTW, our dog house is rather small but I think I can fit into it about now.

A nice bottle of wine and about six pairs of new shoes might take a little of the sting off, but not much. Not that it will make you feel any better but it has happened at my house too.

A couple of years ago my wife (who is a 3rd grade teacher) came in after school carrying a half eaten cake. I said what's the cake for? It was her birthday. That cost me.

Best to you.

Default happy ending

So I went to the store to pick up some groceries last night, got the necessary and very tardy flowers and card......and all is well again. But that really sucked when she walked into my office with the card yesterday morning and caught me by surprise. Somehow, in some small sort of way, I think she liked seeing me with all of that egg on my face .

A wise old mexican guy I used to work with, always said..."Get her a purse. Chick did purses." Wait, I can't remember if he wise or drunk. Now that I think of it, he was always drunk. This is also the same guy that told me "chicks dig it when you're doing d*ggy and you spit in their a-hole". I was just a young drunk kid at the time, I'm starting the think that maybe I shouldn't have been taking his advice.

Obviously, I'm just kidding about ever considering his advice, but in all honesty, he actually said these things..That dude used to crack me up.

Yeah, I know it was a bit much. But this whole thing reminded me of a forgotten anniversary when I was 20, and he told me to get her a purse. Just figured that I'd give a little insight into who the advice was coming from to lighten up the thread..
