Default Jim Perry signed my 59 TOPPS

Went to the White Plains show on Saturday. Had a great time. Jim Perry signed my card and gave me a photo op. He was very friendly and engaging.

Default Jim Perry

Jim Perry is a great guy. I have met him on a couple occasions. He actually owned some farmland about 40 miles from where I live in South Dakota near Lake Norden. I am not sure if he still owns it or not. Lake Norden is also home of the South Dakota Baseball Hall of Fame, so he used to visit on occasion. I have four or five in person autos of him. We also have ties with another Twin great, Tony Oliva who married a girl from Hitchcock, South Dakota which is also about 40 miles from where I live. Both Tony Oliva and Jim Perry put on camps in my home town of Clark, South Dakota a number of years ago. Cool picture of Jim in your thread. He looks great! Thanks for sharing. It brings back good memories!
