Default When one _SA likes the signature, and the other _SA doesn't

One of the two top TPA's gave this card the okay on an "auction loa, while the other TPA turned down this, and two others that were included in the submission, including a Tony Gwynn that was personally signed. What do you think of this Combs?

Late in life possibly but I don't particularly like it.

Would you care to expand on what you don't like about it? I'm starting to see a large number of "later in life" Combs signatures authenticated by PSA that I always believed were extremely difficult to trust. This card shows no "later in life" traits and presents pretty well against others I've seen in cases. Anyone else care to help out here?

So combs signature shows a good amount of variation throughout his life and even within later life, notably in the capital e capital c and the end of the s. I couldn't find an example where all three of those markers looked similar to yours, although if could find ones that had one or two of those markers similar. If one major tpg can authenticate I'd say go with it, it's very possible that it could be fine. It also looks a bit less smooth/ more shaky than other late in life sigs. I would be hesitant to buy it for my collection based on these merits. That having been said again it's entirely possible it could be good. This is why I imagine there was an issue with experts agreeing. Sorry I can't be more help.
