Default Ruth bat advice

So I picked this up on eBay for a few hundred dollars so its not a big investment piece but wanted to make into a nice wall hanger if at all possible.

It's a 1920's-30's 36" 125 that weighs 38oz in its current state.

What I want to know is that can this be restored or is it beyond restoration? As you can see its pretty beat up but at the price I figured for a 125 model it was worth it vs the condition.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Brad

It could be restored, but wouldn't be worth the money to get it done. For the price of restoring it and the price you paid, would be just better to buy one in nicer shape..

So I would just keep it as is, maybe rub it down with lemon oil.

Well the money isn't the issue, trying to find a 125 36" Ruth bat an any condition is a bit tougher than it seems at least for me. I've seen a few 36" 40BR but every 125 I've come across is some sort of "gamer" and usually gets priced out of where I want to be.

Unless you are saying its going to be a few thousand to restore, that I have no clue on. I don't know what it would cost. I reached out to someone when I first got it but then work/life took over and I'm just now getting back to it.
