Default Any idea of print runs in the junk wax era?

I've always been told it was in the millions, but I wanted to know if anyone knew anything more concrete. For instance, let's take a 1988 Donruss Jose Canseco - were 1,000,000 printed, or 10,000,000 printed? etc ....

Any info greatly appreciated!

Default Print Runs

This is unsupported information from a discussion on another forum......and probably pure conjecture in the first place, but they indicated that the print run for 1991 Topps cards were in the 4,000,000 range ie each card was printed 4,000,000 times.

I have no idea if this is accurate or not.
