I think they're making assumptions based on the wavy cut.

However, I disagree. The borders still look too wide to have been trimmed. Maybe I'm wrong, but those borders sure like wide.

not sure what "home kept" means...but if seller is the original owner he/she's be almost 100. pretty mean ebay skills for an almost centurian.

You and me both Jimmy. I wouldn't have ever suspected trimming before joining this site. As you were able to see it was trimmed I too was able to identify the same issue.

VERY nice card though. I'd love to own it.

Another thing is that the seller seems not to know what "prolific" means; they seem to think it's a general positive descriptor, like "terrific". Calling it a "prolific" card doesn't make any sense, unless this card has created a bunch of new cards.

The top border, especially near the right corner, has been trimmed.

There is a difference between wavy and a sloping right hand turn in the top right border.

After looking again, all his T cards looked trimmed...and some of the Topps and Bowman.

As far as enhancing his scans, yes, definitely too bright. Need sunglasses to look at those.

Please explain the rounded corners with no wear to them. No fraying...

I wish all my Cobb cards would start getting prolific and begat a bunch of little Cobbs.

Nice looking cards although the original owner bit threw me. My red flag is a seller who sells lots of high grade slabbed cards offering a handful of exmtish pre-war unslabbed. You have to at least wonder if the cards came back from the TPG as trimmed because otherwise they likely would have been submitted and graded and sell for a lot more...
