Default FS: The Sporting Life Baseball Trade Cards.

The Sporting Life Publishing Company, publisher of the high quality SLC cards (W600s), produced the Baseball Advertising Trade Cards, H 804-8A, 8B and 8C. Their detailed artwork and color process is characteristic of their fine work and their product's extraordinary sustained collectability.

Trade cards were given out by merchants free of charge. These tall, thin cards were mostly discarded. The small thicker stock insert cards were saved. The result being the trade card survival rate of high condition samples are extremely scarce in comparison to the insert cards.

This complete set of this H 804-8A appear to surpass what their technical grade suggests. The backs are identical advertisements. The theme of this set shows baseball scenes of exaggerated mishaps on the field by the players. Comic quips are included to complement the action.

PSA graded 8 card set is: SOLD
