Default Auction mistake.....

Anybody have this happen to them ? I spotted two t202's in the last Stirling auction, made my max. bids, watched anxiously and finally won them. I left them on my end table next to my chair and admired them for several days before I finally decided to put them with the rest of my cards. Going through my t202's I realize I already had these cards and I just bought doubles, super bummer !!!!! I just passed them on to one my fellow Yankee collectors on my FB page for what I got them for....life is good !!!!!

When I was into PSA set collecting I did this ALL THE TIME. I put together a 1975 Topps set for the registry and must've bought doubles by mistake at least a dozen times.

I only have 58 cards so its been awhile since I did that...

When I was doing my Topps run I would do it nearly every show though.

Yes indeed. You want '51 Bowmans? I've got dupes, trips, quadrupes...

Default Not so much with cards

But with my other collecting obsession, classic rock albums, it happens so often I can’t even count the times!

Oh yeah, I do it all of the time with my E-107 collection... ever buy an extra Wagner E107 and kick yourself in the head? Yeah, in my dreams...
