Snapshots
Very cool Scott; nice pose. How bout posting the whole image.
Really like snapshots and they are starting to get expensive at least from my perspective. |

Three Finger actually played for the Whales in 1915. Maybe the year was wrong. according to retrosheet he pitched a game at home on 5/2/15 but not on 5/2/16

I thought others might post some early baseball snapshots here, but since no one has, here's a formal invitation if you have any you want to share.
Here is a small snapshot I sold on ebay around ten years ago - got about $35 for it - whoohoo!

Dom DiMaggio: Joe DiMaggio: I can't ID the batter on this but the catcher is Bill Drescher:

A few early no-hit pitcher snappers...
Great topic, Scott!
Here are some early snapshots of no-hit pitchers: Bobby Burke, HOF Carl Hubbell, Claude Hendrix circa 1911-1913 (technically a small photo, not a snapshot, but I love this photo), HOF Deacon Phillipe 1909 with catcher George Gibson, Earl Hamilton, Johnny Vander Meer circa 1938, Monte Pearson 1938, Nap Rucker circa 1914-1916, HOF Rube Marquard 1916 , WaJo as Manager of the Newark Bears 1928, HOF "Rapid" Robert Feller at the Inaugural Cooperstown HOF Game 1939, HOF "Big" Ed Walsh 1906 snapper. That is a nice Earl Hamilton, his signature is much tougher than his death date as you know!
