Default Koufax RC - What will it grade?

Looking for your "expert" opinions on this if I send to PSA. Thanks

Beautiful Sandy!!! Are there any unseen issues, like bends, wrinkles or such? The black print line across his forehead is the only 'bad' thing that jumps out. The corners seem pretty nice and the centering is absolutely stellar. At a very minimum, it looks like a 6 or 7 any day of the week, but whenever someone guesses a grade, they're usually way off, so who knows? Just an awesome, legendary card!!!!!

I am thinking '5', with a '6' possible. No higher. The print line going across kills it from getting anything higher.

Yeah, I remember a fresh pack break posted on the CU/PSA board a few years ago, and the Clemente with a similar print line got a six. Can't see it higher than that.

Ahhh...the voices of reason!

You guys are probably correct - I did too much reading this AM on the interwebs and came across this on PSA Standards.

A PSA NM 7 is a card with just a slight surface wear visible upon close inspection. There may be slight fraying on some corners. Picture focus may be slightly out-of-register. A minor printing blemish is acceptable and then started thinking MAYBE?

I was going to say if I submitted it, a PSA 5.5. But who knows.

Default Wow - close to a consensus!

That almost never happens here!

I am in the likely a 6, possibly 5.5 camp.

I think the centering and bright color offsets the print line...I say 7.

I've seen cards with print lines that graded 7s. Here is a PSA 8.

Old-school PSA flip on that Mantle-Boyer. In today's environment I think you get a 5 PD or a 4.

Nah, that's way too harsh. Card looks like an 8 otherwise. So 8(PD) isn't out of the realm.
