Should be a PSA 5, I don't know how they keep missing these.

No, but I've seen worse. Once in a while I see PSA 4's or even 5's that have paper loss on the FRONT

at some point, this has to just make PSA look plain stupid. how this company gets 100,000 cards a month is astonishing. the Registry is the driving force behind the product. the entire hobby has turned on a dime when people could post their sets and compete. i have to give them credit though, it still works.

what will be the next "Big Idea" marketing move? new holders with black inserts?

It was 100,000 per month. The last 3 quarters, graded cards have gone from 351,000, to 301,600, to 292,300. So about 97,400 per month. But trending down. And I'm interested to see what this quarter just completed was. Is it the economy? I'd like to know how SGC has changed over the same period.

PSA needs another gimmick to spike submissions - the 1/2 point grade has just about run its course. Of course maybe quality control would serve them better. They are losing Trust, and that's what an independent third party company needs most.

Looking at those declining numbers its no surprise PSA has their best special ever this month. I would love to see SGC's numbers but Im confident they have been doing more than holding their own.

Initially, no way ever. But, maybe the back is pristine. How many times have I seen a 2 or 3 T206 and said "No Way!" and then flipped it over and said "Oh.......OOOHHHH!!" Maybe the grader was a CJ back collector. JK.

All in all I don't think it really matters. Nine times out of ten presentation trumps grade and at auction or on ebay this would honestly pull what a PSA 2 would.

P.S. If you pop it on the B/S/T, don't provide a scan!

Is that paper loss or a stain?

Either way IMO the card is a 1 perhaps a 2.
