How many times and by how many experts do these idiots have to be told the card is a $1 fake? I just don't get it. I never did, never will. Complete idiots.

Not sure what's more pathetic these guys trying to sell this thing over and over or O'Keefe giving it print time yet again, must be a slow day at the Daily News.

What I did not understand about the O'Keefe article was his balanced approach, as if there are two camps of thought on the card. I guess there are the 2 owners vs. everyone else.

It's not just that some/many think the card is a reprinted front pasted to the authentic back of a T206, it's that objectively, that is reality. If there were only one person in the world who knew the front of the card was a fake and everyone else believed it to be real, it still wouldn't make it so. Michael O'Keeffe chooses, again, to ignore that reality.

I was there when Cobb and Edwards purchased the card at a sportscard convention in Cincinnati--from a dealer with a table full of reprints and broders--and they (Cobb & Edwards) both knew and were told from the very beginning that it was a fake.

The story was pathetic when it was first presented by O'Keeffe in his book and is perhaps even more pathetic now.

I wonder how much money they could have earned over these past ten years if they had put all of that time and effort into something other than trying to sell a fake card.
