Default 1972 felts...

anyone what these might be worth? or anything about them. i picked up a joe greene today that looks really nice.

Hi Fred! These were available in gumball vending machines in 1972. The latest guide I have lists Joe Greene at $4. The guide also mentions something about possible reprints, but I would doubt that someone did that - seems a cloth printing for cards that aren't in high demand doesn't make sense to me. I wouldn't be surprised if someone came across a large stock of these at one point, though.

I've seen that gum-ball machine header for the 1972 NFLPA Iron-ons before. What caught my eye was the fact that it lists Bob Lilly (next to last, right column), and he didn't have a card in that set to my knowledge. If anyone has seen one, I'd love to see it!
