T206 F.F. Baker Stamp on Back Collection

I just picked up a Chesbro for my collection with a F.F. Baker stamp on the back. I thought I had seen than name before and sure enough I have an Engle Batting with the same stamp on the back. Both are N.Y. American cards. My question is, Did anyone on this board buy the Baker collection in recent times? It would be kinda neat to know about him as his name will forever be linked to these T206's. Was he just a Highlander collector or does anyone have any more of his collection. Any dealers have any recall about this. thanks in advance. Joe

I have a Westlake with this back stamp. It also says 1318 Mosby st.
Not sure but I think I may have some more T206s with this stamp.
Probably an old timer--stamped his name on the backs when no one worried about the back ads.

Jim, Yup Same address. I realize it's an old timer. Wondering if his family sold the collection in recent times. Don't you think it would be neat to have some info on him? Just my thoughts anyways. Might have to buy as many as I see and put his collection back together. Wondering if Barry has any insite on it?
