Default Ghost Cards

Posted By: Jim Clarke

I have seen more ghost images coming up lately for sale. They seem to do pretty well in auctions. I have not tracked them to much, but from what I gather, they seem to be in almost every set.. Here are a couple I have collected thru the years:

Ghost Image of the Croft's ad on the front

Wonder if anyone came name the player on this one (Pete you can NOT play)

Thank you Rhett for this one..

The ghost to Ryan's left is his teammate Seaton, and the ghost to his right is Ryan himself.

Default Ghost Cards

Here is a scan of my Chief Meyers "Ghost" T206.

What makes this card a bit unusual is that it not only has ghost images of two players, but a reverse image in red ink on the front of the Sweet Caporal Cigarettes brand. The card also has the Sweet Caporal back, however, the writing is lower on the back than the front.

The ghost images that passes onto the right border is Chief Meyers. I have not been able to identify the ghost image on the left due to all of the variables that are occurring.

If anyone can figure out the identity of the player on the left, I'd love to know.

Thanks,

Patrick
