Default T207 issue of VCBC (FINALLY!)

Posted By: Tim Newcomb

Hi folks,

In case you haven't forgotten all about it in the past months, Bob Marquette and I have articles on the T207 set in the next issue of VCBC which Don Betz tells me was mailed Thursday. These articles should offer something to any fan of the era's cards, and it will be interesting to see whether they change the general perceptions of this set.

I am writing also to mention that last summer I offered to send anyone who contributed their holdings to my population survey the text of my article at the time of its publication. If you're in this category, let me know and I can send it to you now.

That being said, I would strongly urge you to SUBSCRIBE to VCBC, both to get the full T207 story with pictures, and more generally, to support the only publication devoted to our little obsession-- sorry, I meant hobby.

Cheers,

Tim

Checked out the site and it looks like a really neat publication. Would love to see some examples of the articles, perhaps I'll start with a back issue.
Regards,

Abe

I am considering subscribing to VCBC but I have an important question.

When they say you get 6 issues/12 months or 12/24 do you actually get the 6 issues if it takes more one year to release them? I would hate to spend $29 and only get 2 issues. I only raise this because many posts have been left stating that it can take a while for the issue to come out.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Bill

...someone with more expertise in publishing (meeting schedules, etc.)

Plan is 6 issues in 2004 (1 down, 5 to go). Like any subscription, you pay for a certain number of issues, not a time period - it isn't a membership.

Nothing like handing out informatiom when you're not sure of your facts!

THERE'S A REASON FOR THAT, THOUGH--it's been so long since I subscribed, I'd forgotten (proof that your subscriptionm is per issues, not per time). Also, as said, the new production manager promises 6 issues in 2004.

I would love to comment, but since it's the "last word", I won't.
