Below are just a few links to my blogs/threads on some of the forged/counterfeit cards.

I first began observing these from Ebay sellers TNTNorthnj, Lyonhrt7777, Jonacarn_44 and most recently from Ebay seller Daniecarchi-0, Dealsfromyustey and others.

I think the point here is not to trust anything - to start questioning everything you buy and to educate yourself so you don’t get burned. People are making fake pack certified cards now. If you pulled it yourself then you are ok. Otherwise you don’t know where it came from and you need to be on the lookout for counterfeit cards and know how to spot them.

I buy all mine on eBay. Very rarely do I pull them from packs. 😞

Below is a YouTube link showing Dave and Adam's Card World "pulling" one of those forged/counterfeit "Willie Mays 1996-97" Topps cards.

Please note that this is not a "pack pull."

Default Bart Starr Forged Counterfeit 2001 Upper Deck Legends Ebay Seller Gofsu2010

As most of you know, I've been exposing numerous Derek Jeter, Sandy Koufax, Johnny Unitas, etc. forged/counterfeit cards.

Check out Ebay seller Gofsu2010 (a major seller of GFA-certed forgeries awhile back); he has sold 15 forged/counterfeit Johnny Unitas "2001 Upper Deck Legends" autograph cards.

He had all of them listed as 1-day auctions.

Below are screenshots of some of those sales.

He listed number 16 yesterday, which ends tonight (10/27/2019).

Default Starr

Bart Starr has been hot since he passed and even before. I run across these in my searches. They are all forgeries as you said. Doesn’t stop the sheep from flocking in. Be smart people

Great advice, Jason.

Those people have absolutely no conscience.

Ebay seller Gofsu2010 was a major seller and promoter of GFA (Stephen Rocchi) certed forgeries and I assume he listed them as 1-day auctions to avoid detection, but a quick check on Ebay's "Sold Auctions" gives it all away.

Does this Jeter have any known counterfeits or does this look OK? They all scare me now.

Why doesn't Upper Deck take some kind of action against these people who are selling counterfeit Upper Deck cards in bulk?

Also, I wanted to thank everyone for posting examples of these forgeries. This is helpful, particularly given how sophisticated some of these Upper Deck examples are.

Because they don't care. They don't want to get involved.

I emailed multiple people at the top level of Topps, and never got a response.

This is why I do what I do.

Here are three more of the 2003 Topps Legends Willie Mays counterfeits, one even PSA graded and authenticated, and another that CSG graded/authenticated!:

I'm worried now as I have purchased many Topps Certified Autograph cards including three Mays cards.

Opinions on this Ohtani?

Welcome back, Chris!

Article in SCD by Rich Muller. Not counterfeit, IMO worse.

Thank you, Jim.

I saw a few of those on YouTube from some of the breakers who pulled them.

What a mess for Topps/Fanatics.
