Not tremendous centering but a tremendously strong clean image drew me to this card.

Cole, excellent card! Matt is a great guy, and the previous owner of that card is one of my good friends. I'm really glad you were able to score that card! The best pose in the set, and super tough!!

After having these on my EBay wantlist for 15 years, I finally picked up all 3 1970's Broder Mets sets.

Nothing Earth shattering, but I picked up a nice stack of cards at a show today. Some highlights include a decent 1959 Campy 'Symbol of Courage' card, an o/c (but who cares!) 1961 high number Hoyt Wilhelm, a bitchin' 1969 white letter Segui, and a pretty sweet 1970 Ryan saving the day for my Mets card…

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Default 1959 Venezuelans

When I went home for Thanksgiving, I stopped in to BBCE and I found these Venezuelans mixed into monster boxes of '59 Topps cards...

Some of you know I've been working on a Top 100 display spanning 1933-1980. With this pickup in hand (literally!), I'm down to only three cards to go.

Thanks Dan!

It's bad enough that I'm working on '65 thru '69 OPC sets - now it looks like I've found an even harder set to build...

Thanks. It was just right for my budget. Two of the last three cards on my list could take a while...1933 Goudey Babe Ruth, 1934 Goudey Lou Gehrig, and 1936 World Wide Gum Gabby Hartnett.

Kind of a slow month here. Upgraded a few '71 commons and filled a few holes in my '52T low number set with these...

I've been collecting Mets stuff for 40 years and I've only seen 4 or 5, they were a Shea Stadium giveaway in July, 1965 for Stengel's 75 birthday.

What's so special about the 65? It's his 3rd year card.

65 is the best looking card from the 60s, and the photo of Rose is my favorite of all his cards
