I would if I saw them at a show, at a good price. The price to buy them from Topps is just too much. I don't like spending a lot for a single card.

You can find them on eBay through bulk purchasers at a much better price than just buying a card thru Topps. I have three and I think I paid $5/$6 shipped for each of them.

I went to check eBay and see a bunch listed for $4 shipped. I'm sure the popular players' cards are higher.

I have been buying directly from Topps and on the secondary market Ebay etc. Since 216 First card I bought was Bryce Harper card number 3 .. once in a while I get an autograph or a team set. And I buy enough to get the free card of the Month. I especially like cards from games I attend. Cards from first game a new rookie plays in are also something I like to pick up. But like others if I want 5 or 10 of a new card I generally go to ebay and save the money..

I liked the idea when it debuted but the secondary market is where to go for them.

I wonder if the Astros garbage can is going to get a card this spring?

The less popular players are usually higher, depending on the print run. You only have a day to buy them from Topps. The large print runs are usually stars or a person's first appearance. Some of A's, Tigers, and Marlins last year had a print run of 150.

I like the concept but I'm a bit disappointed they haven't varied the design much. I mainly go for the Yankees plus any other cards I can get in bulk ($1 or less) to trade to people for Yankees.

Can't speak for the autographs but I don't think the base cards have any long-term appreciation potential. As said upthread, the lower production cards hold their value. By contrast the Judge's from 2017 are very cheap because they produced several thousand of each. Some cards last season, mostly from less popular teams (Ray, Padres, etc) have production numbers under 200.

The sleeper to me is the 2017 Topps Now Road to Opening Day sets. Production from under 1,000 for Cubs down to 28 for Marlins. Very hard to find at a reasonable price, the Judge goes for $200-300.
