Default Let's See Some: Oddball 80s 90s Cards

Found this while sifting through stuff that I left in my parents' attic ages ago. The Deinonychus is my favorite. Let's see some more weirdness from the junk wax era.

I don't consider the Pro Cards minor league set to be oddball. It was sold in packs after all.

If you're an Orioles fan, Dr. Beckett (DallasCardboys) listed some interesting Bobby Grich cards from the 80s today I had never seen.

Cool-please post if you can. My main focus of Topps type cards ends at 1980 but I've picked up some of the tougher, later ones in case I ever extend my parameters. They really never let up on the test issue gas.

Check out this link: https://www.etsy.com/no-en/listing/5...d_out_detail=1

I think there was a large Grich poster too showing the cards.

The seller who I bought them from told me there were 2 sheets, 1 sheet of fronts and 1 sheet of backs. I haven't seen any evidence to dispute this. The Mets team set also includes Doc Gooden and Eddie Murray, which I missed out on when they were for sale.

So that is who that seller is. Must be using some of his old guides to price cards. Lots of fantasy prices for stuff. Also explains the odd color test Beckett magazine that has been listed for ever.

I recently scanned some trading card packaging from about 1993-95, here are some of the scans. I have lots more. The Don Drysdale offer came out right when he died and they did honor the requests for that autograph until they ran out.

There was also a Coot Veal. I think both were featured in the Flipping, Trading & Bubblegum book.
