The young man's name was Willie Breslin.

Thanks. Being the OC sort the flip bugs me but I'll get it fixed someday. You might like this N173 also.

I sold this N173 on eBay a couple of years ago. SGC 20 I think.
To this day it is the only card I ever sold that I truly regret doing so.
I guess the money was more important at the time.
Anyone here the lucky buyer?

(sorry for the other scans)

If that's your card, you can have it sent back as a Mechanical Error for free (they pay shipping as well) and they will fix your flip. Just email them at info@psacard.com and put Mechanical Error in the title.

Thank you for the helpful information. I live in Canada and am leery of sending cards to TPGs in the States for fear that Customs Canada will ding me for importation fees. They're ruthless that way. I'll contact PSA and ask if they can facilitate a workaround, otherwise I'll get it done onsite at the next National I go to.

On a side note, this pose (Ewing w/ Mascot) is catalogued as being issued as an N172 in both 1889 (two variations) and 1890 (PL). However, the cabinet could be ordered in both 1888 & 1889. There is a colored mount in the hobby which helps support it being produced in cabinet form in 1888. As such, I would expect there to be some 1888 N172s but I've yet to see one.
