Default Tough Luck Lexicon

Was wondering what players got tagged with a "tough luck" stigma by baseball historians to describe current baseball topics. I was thinking about Mario Mendoza "Mendoza Line" and Tommy John "Tommy John surgery". Any others I'm missing?

"A-Fraud" or "A-Roid" (whichever came first(?)).

How about "Mr. May" the nickname Steinbrenner put on Dave Winfield.

Lovely Day...

Not sure Tommy John is a negative...been so many pitchers that have had successful careers (or extended careers) because of that surgery...I now think TJ surgery is not a bad thing.

I could put Dr. Strangeglove in this category though. Mitch Williams as "wild thing" also should qualify.
