Default Need advice, PSA grading at National??

Looking for some advice from our experienced Net54 members. As I understand from reading other threads on Blowout, PSA sets up at the National. I am going to my very first National and that in itself is a bit overwhelming but I am also thinking about taking some PC cards to be graded just to acknowledge they are authentic. It is also the first time I will be having cards I own graded. I have four of my more iconic cards I would like to get graded. All four have some condition issues so I would like to just get them graded "authentic" for authenticity. I am pretty sure of three of the cards but I have a question on my '51 Bowman Mantle. I also a five other cards I would like to get a number grade on. I have scans of the cards I intend to take and all these cards are in my PC and I intend to keep them there. My questions are as follows.

1. Can I request an " authentic" grade and what does it cost (is it more than a number grade)?

2. Do you recommend getting them graded at the National.

3. Will it cost more to have bigger name cards like Ruth, Mantle, Clemente RC even if the condition is less compared to grading a modern card.

4. Would you recommend I purchase a Platinum package and will it work with the cards I have scanned?

Thanks for looking and look forward to some direction. Here are the scans.

Cards I would like to get graded authentic.
The higher the value of the cards, the more money it will cost you.

I have never been to the National nor have I ever had any of my cards graded but I would assume, unless you are going to be there all week-end and arrive very early the first morning, you likely won't get your cards back that same day or week-end?

Others will chime in and either agree or disagree but they will have more knowledge than I do.

Good luck, and enjoy!
Got to get to a National some day myself.
(P.S. Should post this in the "Post War" section)

It will cost more for the more expensive cards but is still worth dropping off at the National. Even if you don't get them back that weekend, you will save quite a bit of money by not having to pay outgoing shipping. That adds up very quickly after insurance.

I would have your forms and cards ready to go so you can be in and out of a booth at their stand as quickly as possible. I showed up very early last year on Saturday and still had about 40 people in front of me. If those folks had their forms and cards ready I would've been in and out in 20 minutes. It took a solid 90 minutes. This is a bit of a selfish request, but people will appreciate it!

Good luck, some beautiful cards!

I have heard that if you join at the national with the platinum membership, you can trade the 15 grades for 12 on-site grades on cards with declared values up to $499.
PSA hasn't posted their 2017 National on-site grading fees yet.
