Default Help w/ N284 (Buchner Gold Coin)

Posted By: James Walker, Jr.

Need help with two different items for the N284 (Buchner Gold Coin) set.

The first item. While compiling my list I noticed something odd about the Jumbo McGinnis card. The team and position listed does not match the time frame of the set which was issued in 1887. "Jumbo" is listed as playing for St. Louis, which he did however it was from 1882-1886. Next, the card has him listed as a catcher. According BaseballReference.com, "Jumbo" never played a game as catcher. Here is a break down of positions played during his tenure at St. Louis:

1882 - Pitcher 45 Games, Outfield 6 games, and 2nd Base 1 game
1883 - Pitcher 45 Games and Outfield 4 Games
1884 - Pitcher 40 Games
1885 - Pitcher 13 Games and Outfield 1 Game
1886 - Pitcher 10 Games

He also played the following positions for these other teams:
1886 Baltimore (AA) - Pitcher 26 Games and Outfield 2 Games
1887 Cincinnati (AA) - Pitcher 8 Games

For "Jumbo's" career he pitched in 187 Games, played in the outfield for 13 Games, and played 2nd Base for 1 Game.

As a side note, BaseballReference.com does list the 1886 season as having "partial results". So possibly the missing results are some games where he did catch.

Any thoughts on this?

The second item. I'm trying to complete a "virtual set" of the N284's and need scans of the cards listed below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Once I have scans of all the cards, I will be creating an e-Book of the set to share with all collectors.
