That Vern Bickford is awesome-looks like he just swallowed his chaw! I like the twilight look it has as well.

I like Sheldon Jones, playing long-toss outside the Wicked Witch of the West's castle.

Thanks for posting these team galleries, Roger. Thye bring back a lot of great childhood memories. I've always had an affinity for the Hartsfield card . . . liked the power swing and the stadium backdrop. Bickford is a close second and Torgerson is right up there, even though as a kid I never owned nor inherited a '52B Torgy from my older brothers or their friends.

Bob- Do you think the background on Jones is the Polo Grounds or Braves Field?

Hartsfield is a also a killer card, I almost picked him.

Look at the heads on Spahn and Surkont. Can these two guys really be members of the same species?

. . . it was Braves Field, what with the uniform seemingly depicting the home whites.

Here is the photo used for the Sheldon Jones card. It was taken in the Polo Grounds. He was originally a Giant and they painted a Braves uniform on him.

Surkont and Sid Gordon look like that because they're both headed for the Pirates.

Well the whole team looks like they are headed out of Boston soon happy.gif. I also like the Bickford as that is one unusual looking card.
