Default August pickups

Found 3 bags of 70's sportscards at my local thrift shop today for 1.49 each. I saw some blue, and grabbed them but pretty much counted on them being all commons, but i was pleasantly surprised to find a Gretzky rookie, Howe final year and a random Payton!

I was pretty psyched... I'm not much for the particulars of grading, but to me the card looks to be nrmt.just an ever so slight touch in one of the corners...

That's awesome! I might have to make a few more trips to my local thrift shop. Even though you might not be into grading that's one I would send in to PSA.

My thrift store had boxes of '89 Fleer & Donruss. When I searched for Griffey's, there were none to be found..........

The good news is that this eBay win arrives today and I am now needing just one card to complete my 1958-59 Topps hockey set!
The bad news is that I need #66 Bobby Hull RC

From the same eBay seller comes the 1965-66 Topps Black Hawks team card. Now if you don't collect the '65-'66 Topps hockey set, you are probably thinking "what a piece pf crap card this guy is sharing." But if you are trying to put this set together you are thinking "why did Topps issue a checklist card #121 that indicates #121 is the last card in the set BUT there were seven more cards released?
I need six cards to complete my set, including two of the "high-numbers" #122 Gordie Howe (of course) and #128 Bruins Tem Card. Oh and there is this Phil Esposito RC as well
