I live near an elderly women (amazing lady in her 90s), who lives alone. She has family near by, but I help out with small things when I can - lawn, snow removal, leaves and weeds, etc.. She always offers me something, but I never take anything as it's just a pleasure to help her, and I couple it with when I am doing my own yard, so no big deal. She knows I collect pennants and vintage sports, and she was cleaning out her house with her grandson. She brought over these items she found in her house.

- Oversized early (1910s?) Prattsburg pennant: she says she had family in upstate NY.
- PM10 pin: her husband and one of her sons was a Cubs fan.
- USC pinback with football charms: she has no idea about this.

Nothing overwhelming, but I was overwhelmed and will cherish her sweet gesture.

Great holiday story Joe. Your good deeds were rewarded and I'm sure she got as much a kick out of giving you those treasures as you did receiving them.

Well done buddy!!!

I received a plastic book with two 23K Gold Ted Williams cards. I generally give such things to my nieces and nephews, but unfortunately it's impossible when their grandparents are the ones giving them to me!!!

My Christmas gift to myself was my 1951 Yankees Dobbs Fifty Fedora.
