Thanks for posting.
Wonder how much more footage is saved from the game?

Gives me an excuse to post a favorite card that also happens to be related to the Senators World Series win. Purchased from an important collection

Great footage, crystal clear. Never seen Johnson throw before, bit of a side-arm.

Every other pitcher I have seen, including when I was playing as a teenager, had the momentum of his body moving towards home plate when delivering a pitch. Walter is the only exception to this.

I have always wondered about the physics of it: Propelling your body towards the plate when throwing (think Koufax or Gibson) vs. bracing your back foot hard against the rubber and throwing while pushing back against it.

I liked seeing President Calvin Coolidge in attendance. Here's a photo of him with Walter Johnson.

"As Washington prepared to host its first-ever World Series ..."

I think folks will enjoy this read in today's Washington Post: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local...127_story.html

Craig & George, great cards! Here are some of the lesser-known players who were on the 1924 Senators team:

Nice cards, George. I sense that you and I may frequently be competitors for the same cards. If you ever grow tired of your Holland card of Bucky Harris, kindly LMK.

Jay, nice card. Even tougher is the Type 2 Witmor, which has the vertical back - I've never seen one, nor is there one in the pop reports.
