I haven't seen this card faked before....take a look at the rest of this guy's auctions and you will see a bunch of fake items from store signs to cards.

This is the SAME seller from Muncie, Indiana I have been talking about for over two years now. Their main eBay seller ID is ACOFIND. I think a third ID they sell under is Theolestuff.

I don't know how many times tehy have sold the Mickey Mantle cards, the OBnd Bread psoters and eth Winchester, Indian and different soda advertising signs. this guy is a COMPLETE rip-off artist and, so far, NOBODY has done anything about it.

I have reported him to eBay and a few auctions have been stopped but he has NOT been banned. One person bought something from ACOFIND and left a Negative Feedback but since the person didn't pay for the items (because he KNEW it was fake in the first palce) eBay removed the Negative feedback he left.

The Police have told me they can't do anyting about him because I haven't bought anything (why should I waste my money if I KNOW the items are fake and eBay wont do anything about him?).

I guess I am going to have to talk to the FBI (again). Crime like this HASA to be stopped. It is RIGHT out in the open and EASY to see and verify.

David

There's no good reason for such a busy background when trying to sell a baseball card. Often such a background is used to prevent the viewer from getting a clean look at the card. When the seller thinks the card is as advertised, he wants bidders to get a good look, not trigger flashbacks.

It's also good to be wary of cards that look as if boiled in oil, but with edges and corners sharp enough to shave a peach.

But he claims the card weighs One Pound. Does this not sound right? Don't most "real" cards weigh at least 1 lb?
