He and Fred Hickman are my all time favorite duo. Incredible piece, If you watch that and dont get a bit choaked up and think about things in your own life I would be extremely surprised--thanks for sharing that story

It is such an incredibly sad story. Really broke me up, too. Very similar to watching "The Last Lecture" about that professor Randy Pausch, from Carnegie Mellon University.

I grew up in Baltimore and was a big fan when he was doing the local sports newscast.

Yes, class duo.

I watched CNN Sports Tonight with those two over ESPN's Sportscenter. I was sad when it was cancelled.
