For Christmas, my wife came up big for me. First, she bought me the last two cards I needed for my 1954 Topps set. Second, she gave me this second year Aaron.

Robert,
Congrats on killing the 54 set! My last two cards will be the Aaron and Banks rookies. I have two other commons to get still, then it'll be those two. AndyH

Thank you, Andy. It sounds like you are getting close, too. This will likely be my last set. From here on out, I think I am just going to cherry pick the stars I like from the sets I like. I love the idea of set collecting, but I could be buying a few HOFers and star cards with the money I am spending on commons.

I won this '52 Mays at Burls Vintage Set Breaks back in August. Has a bit of a tilt, but not bad for a $78 investment!!!
