And if you don't answer those questions above you will no longer be allowed on this board nor will your images you posted continue to be there. Specifically are you involved with the company, and if so, in what capacity? The reason I ask is this looks like advertising to me.

Are you affiliated with that company and if so what is your affiliation? It's not a difficult question.

Well, advertising is fine if it is ok'd first and there are plenty of banner advertisers on the site. You still didn't answer my question??

Ok, that answers my question. That is all I wanted. Thank you. And the reason I was asking is that if you owned the company and came on here spamming your product without ever contacting me about it then yes, I would have an issue with that. But you aren't the owner, or seem to be vested in it, so no worries.

And also, I see another board member told you to put this on the main board too. Again, no worries under the circumstances...

Thanks for the post. A really interesting idea. I wonder what they are going to charge? Usually you get 1 per box on these type things. I wouldn't be surprised at $300+ per box.

Didn't Topps do this already?

I think I'll stick to the real thing, instead of this Frankenstein effort.

Don't mind Leon. He's been in a bad mood since the Dodgers moved from Brooklyn.

I took a chance and picked up one of these at the national. Ended up with an Ira Thomas with an original t206 and a cut. Pretty cool concept. It cost $150. One thing to keep in mind before taking the plunge... The boxes are broken down to 60% original t206 and cut and 40% newly manufactured cards with a cut. Like I said its a neat product but you are basically taking a 50/50 shot at an original card vs a new card for $150.

These stuff looks okay to me. How do people like the company of Historic Autographs? I picked up 2 Historic Autographs in PSA slab of Richard Sipek, the 3rd deaf baseball player who played for Reds during one season in 1945. If they came up with Molesworth or Taylor. I would learn to love and want them somehow

Everyone might be shopping, getting their fix at Nationals while I'm home fixing up my son's bedroom. I look forward to share with you all sometimes this week once everything is set.

Best,
Danny

Sadly that was done on purpose per the guy at the ha booth. Despite getting a great pull...sort of a little disappointed in that the dispersement of cards were not fair and equitable amongst dealers who bought the boxes. Instead they were dispersed to ensure that some of the bigger cards would be pulled at the show through dealers. Obviously that is done for promo purposes and benefits their company.

Per the guy at the ha booth there is definitely a Cobb at the show still somewhere. I'm contemplating buying 2 more for shits and giggles.

Kevin

Like the concept, did something similar for ~$35 in my office (auto+card+frame). Livingston(e) autos aren't hard to find.

Course mine didn't come with a dice roll for a Young or a Cobb.

I think I read there are at least two of each, so even if one of them was at the National there should be one more in the general population for each player.

Default Most have at leats 2

I asked and there are (4) players that had 1-of-1 cards ... Merkle, Milan, Dineen & Owen Wilson ... but all the HOFers have at least 2 ... and the checklist shows over 20 HOFers including Cobb, Young, McGraw, Johnson, Baker, Bender, Crawford, Clarke, Collins, Wheat, Wallace, Walsh, Flick, etc
