Default Houston courgers punched ticket already to BCS playoffs

Amazing how now week after week we wll hear in College Football the argument about the Houston Cougers going to the College Football playoff

They have the QB (assuming he not get hurt) and the offense needed to run the table on their week future games. Louisville is the only test now and probably in the end even Louisville will be considered better than Oklahoma.

In any event we will see. First weeks arent everything, ask Alabama but for a team like Houston its everything. If they somehow get to number 3 or 2 in the end of the year they probably win the first playoff game too

Do you mean cougar?

They were ranked 15 preseason. They beat the number 3 team. People that can't spell Cougar really shouldn't be commenting about them.

Courgers?

We will see where Oklahoma ends up at end of year....(Louisville i already commented in my first post will end up ahead of oklahoma as well)....people who really think being ranked 3 before any games are ever played means anything really should not be commenting either. Plus being ranked 15 isnt all that, lets see who is ranked 15 at the end of the year and you will see that type of team..last year oregon finished 15th i believe with 3 losses....thats a long way away from being in a the college football playoff...

I still not sure how the sooners were favored in the second half by 7 points to Houston. Not sure what game Vegas was watching...

More of a prediction......basically that Oklahoma will be a major dissapointment with 3+ losses and probably 4+ and that Houston gets to the final 4..even though they only beat (what will turn out to be) a bad oklahoma team and Louisville

Default Final 4

My alma mater had no football team ( although it is usually conceded the forward pass originated there), so I never get too worried about who gets to the playoffs. Houston is fine with me. Time will tell

I hope Houston gets in the playoff. It's great to see teams other than the status-quo teams the media always touts as being "better" than other teams because they play such a "tough" schedule (against other media hyped teams). I'd love to see the playoffs expanded to at least 8 teams.

Then again, I'm a Rutgers fan and after the last 2 weeks I'm kinda down!!. .

Rutgers has as much a chance of making the playoffs as the Cougars, after Houston lost to Navy (46-40) Saturday.

All I've heard all year is how great they were and their coach. Then you lose to Navy? Really?

you like a month late and a dollar short, however their quarterback was clearly injured which was an important condition so now they can run the children's table
