The Mega Millions Lottery is up to over $ 200 million. If I win I'll definitely try to complete a set of Old Judges, T206 with all the estimated close to 7,000 variations, Goudey sets, etc. That should take care of a few million with plenty left over for all the other sets. Nice to dream. As they say, you can't win if you don't buy a ticket. Good luck.

You can write off the Old Judge set right now no matter how much money you have.

If I ever won that kind of cabbage in the lottery you can bet all Old Judge collectors would hate me. I know I'd never be complete, but I'd buy up every card I didn't have until my set was as complete as possible.

Rob, stand in line. Behind Jesse Jackson, Jr. Nice to see how far the apple has fallen.

Very nice Rob! Then 2 seconds later I read Jeff's comment, which is EXACTLY what I said to my wife 10 minutes ago.

The lump sum payout is 141.3 million, but I don't think that includes taxes.

If I somehow won the lottery ... which is unlikely since I don't play ... I'd buy a cornfield somewhere and build my own ballpark ...

I am upset that the megamillions got outed.

I don't think the board is the proper place for ongoing lotteries.

Picked up 10 tickets last night and will pick up some more on the way home this evening. I guess I would be a "player" for all four of the "Big Four" that are supposed to be in the next REA auction......

I would pay off my parent's mortgage and any other debt they have.

Would also make sure my wife's health problems are dealth with as best as possible.

Would help my church more.

For myself, would buy some more Nap Lajoie cards. Also a Connie Mack(dont have one). Try to fill out my T206 collection better.

Bought my tickets this week, paid for next-day service at SGC, got the tickets back in the mail today.

So I'm all set.

Rob.... if you win.... I have a notebook cover to sell you.

As for me... if I win - I would buy more beer..... and would finally open up that vintage auction house / brothel with Barry.... it would be "Toppsless"

According to megamillions.com ONE person won the whole thing. I started checking my ticket and I had the first three numbers and about the time I started thinking I had a shot, I missed the rest. The winner was from Ohio too! At least I won $7 for my three numbers, unfortunately I paid $10 for the ticket... sad.gif

It never seems like the winner comes from NY.

Don't feel bad, The mega-millions usually gets to that amount or higher about 2 times per year. There always
next time. Now everybody has more time to really think about they will really buy the next time it reaches this high. A dollar and a DREAM

Everytime there is a huge lottery jackpot like this, it seems to be won by a big, dumb hillbilly hayseed. I pray that this profiling continues!

If I win...

I will build a statue to my twin uncles: Larry A. and Jerry B. (My grandparents couldn't think of middle names.)

I will build a local Catholic High School to be finished in at least seven years. My daughter will be a Freshman at that time.

I will complete my low end T206 set.

The best quote I ever heard about money came from Warren Buffett. He said he was going to give his kids enough money to do whatever they want, but not so much so they didn't have to do anything.

Scott
