JO Sports COA reliable?

Can anyone tell me how reliable a COA from JO Sports is regarding game used jerseys? There is an item on ebay from this company that I am interested in. I have heard of the company but that is about the extent of it.

I have never bought from them, first off. Football collecting just isn't my thing. But you should know that the owner got picked up for doctoring GU items. JO was building a great name for themselves amongst collectors and then something came out about fake items early in there existence (or something to that reguard).

Again, always do YOUR homework and in the end, YOU the collector, has to be comfortable with the item...no one else. Hope these help you make up your mind. As I said before, people had great experiences with the company...then news broke. A lot of people still buy from them, but a lot of them don't.

They have more than a checkered past, but I'm sure a lot of their stuff is genuine. The did have contracts with NLF teams and I would imagine that stuff is legit.

So I would say be careful and cynical, but that doesn't mean they didn't sell genuine stuff.
