Wall Displays

Maybe this subject has come up before but I just got around to hanging my framed card displays. Had them done years ago, hung them at the office, then when I moved offices they went into storage. The manner of attachment assures that there will be no damage to the backs if the cards are ever removed.

Displays of:

1959 White Sox
1959 Cubs
1952 Bowman, one from each team
1953 Bowman, one from each team
1953 Topps, one from each team.

The manner of adhesion is a type of two sided tape (I can't remember the brand as these were done about 15 years ago). I was assured that removal would not damage the cards. Notwithstanding that, the cards are all commons (except I guess for the 53B Boudreau, and are unlikely to be removed in any event.

The cards are displayed in a spare bedroom in our home.

Did you have a professional framer do all of those for you?

I recall a great shop in the center of Arlington Hts that did a really solid job with all sorts of pieces, both flat as well as jerseys and balls, etc...forgot the name though...they were located on Arl Hts road, maybe a mile south of the RR tracks?...

Have you ever framed/mounted any expensive items before? any trusted methods for such a job?

Thanks for the nice comments. Yes, they were "professionally" done but not by the shop on Arlington Heights Road. It's still there and I pass it every day to and from the office. They always have some nice framed jerseys in the window and do very nice framing work. My wife has her items framed by them.
