Good Luck Chris. The Pittsburgh Exhibits are nearly impossible to find. I've been looking for the Maris for a few years now. Ill let you know if I come across a Mantle. Keep me in mind if you come across a Maris in any condition. Thanks!

I am not 100% sure what the Mantle looks like but there is a Ty Cobb and a few others on eBay. The diamonds, hearts, etc., are either in black and white or color. And, there is possibly a variation with the back where they are stamped, but most appear to be blank backed.

I've never seen the Mantle before, but I do have Page, Kaline, & Yogi. All three are blank back. The Hearts & Diamonds have the number in red and Spades & Clubs are black & white, just like on a deck of playing cards.

http://keymancollectibles.com/baseba...schecklist.htm
NOTES:

The 1962 Pittsburgh Exhibits (AKA 1962 Playing Cards - Supers) baseball card set consists of 82 cards that measure 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" Designed as an oversized deck of playing cards there are 28 Clubs, 19 spades, 21 Hearts and 14 Diamonds. Most of the card "Denominations" can be found with more than one player, some players appear multiple times, and 3, 4, and 5 of Diamonds have yet to be identified or may be subjects not related to baseball, and do not appear on the checklist.
Because there is no date or credit line to the manufacture the date of issue, 1962, has been estimated. Player content suggest Pittsburgh was the center of distribution and collectors report having received the cards in penny arcades vending machines at Kennywood Amusement Park or near there. It has also been reported that the cards were given over the counter as prizes for getting a winning gumball from a machine.

the cards are printed in black & white or red, black & white and they are usually blank backed but examples have been found with apparent prize references printed on the back.

The cards have been named "Exhibits" because of there similarity to the vending machine cards issued by the Exhibit Supply Company of Chicago. PSA grades the cards and labels them as "1962 Playing Cards - Supers". Besides the players listed on the checklist the set contained TV and movie cowboys, Rock-n-Roll stars, Boxers, Wrestlers, and cartoon characters.

Thanks Chris. I had mine graded within the past year & PSA did label them Pittsburgh Exhibits, although previously PSA had been labeling them as Super - Playing cards.
