Default N172 Old Judge Question.

Posted By: Jay Miller

Although script cards are generally scarce, the script versions of the Welch cards are as common, or more common, than the later issued Welch cards. As a general rule of thumb, cards from teams outside the National League and the American Association tend to be somewhat scarcer than those within this group. California League teams(S.F., Oakland and Sacramento) are the scarcest, with Player's League teams being next in line. If you have questions about specific cards please email me at curl777@aol.com.

Default N172 Old Judge Question.

Posted By: Trevor Hocking

I just picked-up a N172 Mickey Welch in poor condition. When I finally got the card I saw that it was the script version. From what I have read it was the first series that Old Judge produced. IS that correct? Also, how rare is this card compared to the later issued one's? I was also wondering if anyone had a list of the rarer cards in the set, also does anyone know which teams are harder to find? (Jay!) Please feel free to e-mail me.
