Default Need help in identifying an old glove

My neighbor is cleaning out his garage and found his father-in-law's old glove. Can anyone identify the player endorsement? We can clearly see "Pass" and a last name that may also begin with a P.
No other markings on the glove, but a locomotive is clearly on the button.
Thanks!

Could be Claude Passeau? I have no idea if he had the nickname "Pass," but off the top of my head, that's the only name that seems to make sense.

As usual, I reserve the right to be completely wrong in my guess

I agree with you Lance. I too have never heard of that nickname and although the "P's" aren't consistent or similar on both names, I still think it is Claude Passeau. The era and style is right and consistent with other Passeau models.

His Wikipedia bio says he was an excellent college QB. Maybe he liked that as a nickname.
